  • Vicky Huyton to Deliver Keynote at Australian Athletics 2025 Women in Coaching Conference

    Vicky Huyton, the founder of the Female Coaching Network (FCN), has been announced as the keynote speaker for the 2025 Women in Coaching Conference, taking place August 2–3 2025 at the world-class Gold Coast Performance Centre in Queensland.

    Bringing together women across all stages of their coaching journeys, this inspiring two-day event will focus on building confidence, cultivating strong professional networks, and advancing coaching excellence. Open to all coaches who support and advocate for women in coaching, the conference promises a dynamic mix of practical learning, networking, and collaboration.

    Vicky Presents Alongside Professor Leanne Norman to Highlight Barriers in Track & Field

    Vicky Huyton, founder of the Female Coaching Network (FCN), and Professor Leanne Norman, Director of the Centre for Social Justice in Sport & Society at Leeds Beckett University, hosted a collaborative workshop titled Achieving Gender Equity in High-Performance Athletics Coaching. It aimed to provide coaches with a platform to discuss the barriers faced by female elite coaches in track and field. This session was grounded in the 2021 research paper co-authored by Huyton and Norman, which examined gender equity within high-performance athletics coaching.

    In her role as Ambassador, Vicky will be championing the adoption of Gazing Red2Blue innovative Red2Blue framework for mindset development, and performing under pressure.
